Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026 · Thamadh

This policy describes how Thamadh uses cookies and similar technologies on memr.in. For how we use personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Notice.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar browser storage (for example localStorage) for preferences and consent choices.

2. Cookie categories

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to function — for example authentication session tokens and security. These do not require consent under the DPDP Act because they are essential to the service you request.

Analytics (optional)

Microsoft Clarity helps us understand usage patterns, diagnose errors, and improve memr. Clarity may set first-party cookies such as _clck (persistent visitor ID) and _clsk (session grouping). We only enable Clarity after you opt in via the cookie banner or cookie settings. Clarity masks sensitive input by default in session recordings.

We do not use Clarity for advertising. Ad-related storage signals are always denied in our configuration.

3. Your choices

  • Use the cookie banner on first visit to Accept analytics or Reject non-essential cookies.
  • Change your choice anytime via in the site footer or below.
  • Rejecting analytics does not block access to search, clips, memes, or other core features.

4. Consent records

When you make a choice, we store your decision locally in your browser (including notice version and timestamp) so we can honour it on return visits and demonstrate compliance.

5. Third-party cookies

When analytics is enabled, Microsoft may set additional cookies as described in Microsoft Clarity's cookie documentation. We configure Clarity to deny ad storage.
